First, please ensure you have an op-ed and not a letter to the editor. Letters are short comments (under 200 words) that comments on any article on the paper that should be considered for publication. If you'd like to submit a letter to the editor you can do so here.
Op-eds, or Viewpoints, are opinion columns that are often written by people who do not work for the newspaper. Our op-ed columns run about 600 words, though we also like shorter pieces. Email your column to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please include your name, address, phone number, a short description of what you do for a living and anything else we should know about you that's relevant to the topic of your column.
